Collecting a few pieces as gifts from
my husband in 1960 began my fascination. 
He purchased these very expensive items 
in the only jewelry store in a nearby town. 
These lovely dishes sat in my cupboards 
real high up out of the reach of my growing 
children. Now that they are grown, I have 
found time to become more seriously 
interested in these silver trimmed glass 
and crystal dishes.

For approximately 9 years now, I have 
been studying every dish that I have 
been able to locate either locally in 
person or else online. Many of these 
fabulous silver trimmed dishes (over 
300) are now in my growing collection.

I have been able to locate a variety 
of silver patterns and most of their 
names that were used by the Silver City 
Glass Company. In fact, I have come 
across one pattern without a name as of 
today. That may change as my study progresses.
